Association and Taiping Insurance Discuss Low-Altitude Applications and Cooperation

On May 8, 2026, the Association and Taiping Property Insurance Shenzhen Branch held a joint study and business exchange on low-altitude applications and insurance. The activity combined organisational learning with discussion of cooperation between the two sectors.
Part One: Visiting Low-Altitude Applications
Participants visited the China Unicom Low-Altitude Intelligent Network Innovation Centre. Shenzhen Unicom specialists introduced the company’s low-altitude solutions and demonstrated infrastructure including drone docks and landing pads, linking current research with practical applications.
The visit illustrated the move from low-altitude concepts to working applications. It also identified operational needs that could inform insurance products tailored to the sector.

Part Two: Joint Learning and Organisational Development
After the observation, the two sides held a special symposium on the integration of organisational capacity and business, and built consensus on cooperative development.
President Liu Zuxing welcomed the Taiping delegation, reviewed the Association’s 2025 work in standards, technology transfer and public science education, and outlined its 2026 plans.
Wu Wenbin, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Taiping Property Insurance Co., Ltd. Shenzhen Branch, and Huang Yaoyao, exchanged experience on organisational development work. Both sides stated that this joint study and co-construction has built a close cooperative bond; they will deeply participate in the construction of the low-altitude economy industry and standard formulation, precisely tap the emerging market for low-altitude insurance, accelerate the research, development and implementation of technology insurance products, and promote the transformation of planning and layout into actual industrial results.
The joint study session covered the Regulations on Disciplinary Action of the Communist Party of China (《中国共产党纪律处分条例》) and the Provisions on Online Conduct of Communist Party of China Members (《中国共产党党员网络行为规定》). Participants discussed professional conduct, integrity and organisational responsibilities in the context of their industry work.

Part Three: Cooperation Between Industry and Finance
Participants viewed mandatory drone insurance as a likely direction for the sector and discussed lessons from motor insurance. They proposed cooperation in the following areas. This was the participants’ assessment, rather than a statement that new compulsory insurance requirements had taken effect.
1. Deepening practical application scenarios. Focusing on key application scenarios such as Dameisha wave rescue and urban emergency logistics, we will optimize insurance protection solutions, promote the transformation of insurance services from generalized coverage to precise scenario-based customization, and align with the diverse operational needs of the low-altitude industry.
2. Activating the momentum of professional talent. Relying on the Shenzhen Federation of Trade Unions' low-altitude application skills competition platform, we will promote learning and innovation through competition, precisely identify and jointly cultivate interdisciplinary professionals in science and technology and finance, and fill the industry's talent gaps.
3. Deepening the integration of industry culture. We will support the establishment of low-altitude interest groups, build a regular two-way exchange mechanism, accelerate the iterative research and development and implementation of insurance products dedicated to the low-altitude economy, and improve the industrial financial service system.
The activity established a basis for further cooperation between the Association and Taiping Property Insurance Shenzhen Branch. The two sides plan to connect technical expertise with insurance services and develop practical support for low-altitude businesses.
