Association Showcases Low-Altitude Applications at Shenzhen’s 2nd Emergency and Fire-Safety Industry Conference
On April 27, 2026, the "2nd Shenzhen Emergency and Fire Protection Industry Scenario Innovation and Supply-Demand Matching Conference," jointly hosted by the Shenzhen Emergency Management Bureau, the Shenzhen Fire and Rescue Bureau, and the Longgang District People's Government, was held at the Shangjing Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park in Baolong Subdistrict, Longgang District. With "policy interpretation, achievement display, scenario release, supply-demand matching, and live-scenario drills" as its main thread, the conference brought together leaders at all levels from the city and districts, representatives of associations and research institutions in the emergency and fire protection field, and representatives of 200+ high-quality enterprises to jointly explore new paths for the intelligent, high-end, and cluster-based development of the safety and emergency industry.

As an important exhibitor, the Shenzhen Science and Technology Association for Low-altitude Economy (hereinafter referred to as "the Association") participated throughout the conference's core segment — the "Safety, Emergency and Fire Safety Industry Exchange Open Day" — and set up a dedicated booth in the large exhibition area, showcasing the Association's latest achievements in the commercialisation of scientific and technological advances in low-altitude economy-enabled emergency and fire safety, and fulfilling its mission of "empowering emergency response through low-altitude operations and serving society through science and technology" with concrete actions.
I. Low-Altitude Technologies for Emergency Response
The Association's booth highlighted two landmark achievements:
(1) Xiaomeisha Seaside Emergency Rescue Project
Relying on low-altitude drones, AI image analysis, and wireless communication technologies, the project has built a three-dimensional emergency rescue system covering both the shoreline and the air, enabling rapid positioning of persons in the water and real-time transmission of on-site images, significantly improving response efficiency and rescue success rates for sudden seaside emergencies.
(2) Guidelines for the Application of Unmanned Aircraft in Building Fire Inspection and Reconnaissance (《无人驾驶航空器建筑物消防巡查和侦察应用指南》)
Addressing the pain points of difficult, high-risk and blind-spot-prone fire inspection in super high-rise buildings, the Association took the lead in formulating a domestically leading association standard for unmanned aircraft high-rise building fire inspection, standardising key points such as inspection processes, operating procedures and technical requirements, and providing an actionable "aerial operations manual" for building an integrated air-space-ground fire emergency tactical system.
The booth attracted representatives from emergency management departments, fire rescue units, industrial parks and a number of emergency equipment enterprises, who stopped to exchange views, and the standard was widely publicized.

II. Connecting Emergency-Service Needs with Industry
During the event, representatives of the Association met enterprises across the industrial chain on the practical application of low-altitude aircraft in emergency scenarios such as fire inspection, disaster reconnaissance, material delivery and communication relay. The Association stated that it will continue to serve as a bridge for industry, academia, research and application collaboration, promote efficient matching between the technological achievements of member organisations and the practical needs of emergency operations, and help Shenzhen build a benchmark for low-altitude economy emergency response.

III. Standards and Practical Applications for Urban Safety
This exhibition is another important appearance by the Association following the 2026 Longgang District Low-Altitude Economy Innovation and Development Conference. The Association will take this event as an opportunity to accelerate the technology transfer and standards development of the low-altitude economy in fields such as emergency and fire protection, urban governance and public safety, and will actively organise member organisations to participate in actions such as opening up emergency scenarios, supply-demand matching and joint research and development, contributing "low-altitude strength" to the construction of Shenzhen's "20+8" industrial clusters and the high-quality development of the safety and emergency industry.
Low-Altitude Technologies for Emergency Services
The Shenzhen Science and Technology Association for Low-altitude Economy sincerely invites more enterprises and institutions in the low-altitude economy and emergency and fire protection fields to join hands and jointly build a new defense line for urban safety.
